Nuvoxil supports serotonin using tryptophan. L-Tryptophan offers milder support of serotonin with lower peak serotonin levels and a more gradual dose-response curve than 5-HTP products1. Patients who cannot tolerate 5-HTP products may have better outcomes with Nuvoxil.
